Residence Selenite is located in a tranquil setting surrounded by lemon and orange groves in the area between the beach and the old road that goes from Capo d'Orlando to Cefalù. We recommend that you arrive by car, as the train station is a few miles from here and the public buses do not come this way.
It is barely 1 km to the beach from the residence. Shops and restaurants are within the same range of distance. Capo d'Orlando is home to many shopping opportunities and a pleasant pedestrian street with several ice cream bars, cafes and street vendors in the evening. In the summer, concerts are often organised in the main square.

The property is newly built and opened in the autumn of 2010. A fabulous swimming pool with a separate jacuzzi - which serves as both a water massage and children's pool has been installed in the large garden. The two sisters who run the place, Cinzia and Kitty, are happy to provide information about restaurants, bike rentals and tours in the area. They are particularly environmentally conscious people and have chosen to install solar panels on the roof, so the power that you will use during your stay is created entirely by the sun.
The apartments are all spacious and beautifully decorated. Each apartment has a unique character and is furnished slightly differently than the others. All have air conditioning, satellite TV with flat screens and electronic doors/locks. The ground floor apartments have their own terrace space while those on the first floor only have a long balcony where it is not possible to sit and eat, but there are better views.

Selenite is a real small gem, especially in the area where it's situated. The house and the garden with an exceptionally fine pool are in a perfect state, and our holidays started instantaneously when you rolled through the gate. We experienced a warm welcome and the staff was very helpful – we preferred to move to the adjacent apartment "La Perla" instead of staying in the "Smeraldo" apartment which represented absolutely no problem for the hosts.
The reason for changing apartments was the only slightly negative point about the house: you can hear everything the neighbours above you are doing, especially during the night (and I really mean EVERY thing...). Besides this little problem, we can only recommend Selenite!
Absolutely loved our stay at Selenite. Situated back off the main road in a quiet cul de sac the apartments are very modern, clean and well equipped. The pool area was lovely, with very comfortable sunbeds and a Jacuzzi. There is the use of a BBQ at the bottom of the garden and the pool area and gardens are surrounded by lime and lemon groves. Our host, Cinzia, was very helpful and visited evey day so was always available to assist and advise.
