Casa Surfinia stands slightly remote approx. 100 m from the church of Castell'Umberto and the big square, which acts as a meeting place for the whole of the town night and day. Approx. 100 m further along there is a large garden with public outdoor swimming pool (open from 5 July till 31 August) and tennis court.

The house was built in the 1970s when the owners returned from the more hectic Turin, where they worked in the FIAT-factories. Sarina chose to return to her home town and now manages the house and a hairdressing salon in town. She missed the large woods and the views over Rocche Del Castro which dominates the landscape at sunset. When their child left home she decided to convert part of the house for tourist accommodation and established two apartments for this purpose.

Painting the facade of the house has never been completed but this is very common in the southernmost part of Italy. It is no problem parking in the road by the house as there is always room.

Both apartments are pleasantly furnished and enjoy views over the town and the sea from the balcony/terrace. Here you can relax both indoors and outside and even though the town centre is nice and close the surroundings are still quiet.
