Terrazza Sofia

Lovely little town with just the right amount of locals, homeliness and European tourists. Most of the locals spoke a bit of English, the restaurants menus was mostly in English. Felt very real and not at all like a tourist trap.

We ad a wonderful vacation at Terrazza Sofie.
Antonius welcomed us, when we arrived and make sure we got accommodated well, very informative, answered all our questions and even gave us a bottle of local wine as a welcome gift - it was very delicious.
We had a lovely view of the small harbour from our terrace, which worked as a nice part of the small kitchen.
The apartment is perfect for a couple or a couple of good friends on a vacation together, who don't sharing a double bed. There were plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you need, if you want to cook yourselves, and bath and toilet worked impeccably. Lovely with air con in the apartment, and really nice, that there's a lot of towels, also extra ones for visits to the beach, so you don't have to bring it in your suitcase. There was a lot of life on the lovely street, where the apartment was located, but when all the doors were closed, we didn't hear much of the sound on the street. So the place is soundproof.
I can recommend the cafe located down the street across from the entrance to the apartment, as a place to eat breakfast. Good service, delicious food, nice selection and cheap.

The Terazza Sofia is located in one of the most beautiful streets of Castellamare del Golfo. The place is not too big and every day we discovered wonderful streets and venues. And the best and beautiful sandy beach is not too far.

The apartment itself is first class renovated and well equipped. The view over the town and the harbor is stunning. Antonio was very friendly and helpful. We will be back when we come to Sicily!

Lovely apartment with the best view and placement. Close to everything. Nice Terazz that "did everything".

We loves this roof top apartment. Clean, spacious and with a great terrace. The host Antonio was very helpful. It was not a lot of tourists, which we appriciated. The apartment was located at the best spot in the village, just by a lovely square. Nice bar and restaurant near by. It was a walk for about 15 minutes to the beach, which was great.

We also took a boat trip with "Penelope"
to see caves and the perfect beach at san vito. On the way we stopped for a swim in the ocean. I can really recommend this boat trip.

We were at the last floor of the house. The view were amazing...and the apartment very clean and nice, perfect for 2 people!
The steps to get upstairs...perfect to get back in shape :-)
