Charming little town and lovely apartment
Lovely little town with just the right amount of locals, homeliness and European tourists. Most of the locals spoke a bit of English, the restaurants menus was mostly in English. Felt very real and not at all like a tourist trap.
Castellammare del Golfo as a holiday destination
We never visited the beach located in Castellammare del Golfo, because it didn't look very nice. Ca. 1 km away there were several lovely beaches, which we went to, if we wanted to sunbathe and swim. The restaurants on "our" street and down by the harbour were great! We mainly had dinner at "our" street, which had a cosy atmosphere with a lot of people.

A place and apartment to dream about
The Terazza Sofia is located in one of the most beautiful streets of Castellamare del Golfo. The place is not too big and every day we discovered wonderful streets and venues. And the best and beautiful sandy beach is not too far.
The apartment itself is first class renovated and well equipped. The view over the town and the harbor is stunning. Antonio was very friendly and helpful. We will be back when we come to Sicily!

Recommendations for future guests
Antonio has so many tips for trips and restaurants, that I would not add anything more.
Only one thing I would like to add, San Vito lo Capo can have some really busy places. I would rather stay in Castellamare del Golfo!

New but very noisy
We rented both apartments and found them both quite new and lovely. Good kitchen to cook in. Nice, friendly little shops, including a fish and meat shop nearby. We were unfortunate though, as the neighbouring apartment was being renovated while we were there, and construction began at 6 in the morning with drilling and hammering on the other side of the wall. It wasn't all the time though. As others have written, it was pretty lively down the street in a bar Thursday - Saturday. So therefore I want to give the apartment 4 starts, but the disturbed sleep hurts the review.

Wonderful
