In winter it ticks over with a small population of the village's own inhabitants. During spring, the population grows a bit more, then it peaks during summer when all the houses are occupied by people wishing to enjoy the coast.

The town's beach consists of fine yellow sand, and it is a pleasure to see the waves coming again and again in the small bay. In July and August, the beach is packed with people, and in the evening it comes alive with young people and loud music. Despite the town having no special interest as such, it is a lovely beach and is a short distance from many cultural attractions and special scenic areas.
