In short walking distance from the apartment is also the old port and its cosy little beach. If you go a little further, you can also reach the town's larger beach with fine sand. Parking space in the centre is a scarce resource since car parking is largely limited to the city's permanent residents, but you can park around 500 metres away from the new port or Piazza Colombo.
