The apartment is located in a quiet area of the historical centre of Cefalù, just 50 metres from Piazza Garibaldi where you will find the magnificent cathedral. You can enjoy a wonderful sea and town view from the apartment's roof terrace.
The apartment is approx. 70 m² and consists of a living room with a double sofa bed and a kitchenette, a bedroom with two single beds, a room with a toilet and washing machine, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and a small terrace with views. The apartment has air conditioning.

The apartment also has a nice outdoor area with a dining table and chairs. Casa Sottomura is ideal for a small family who want to dine outdoors and stay close to the beach, amenities and shopping. It is approx. 600 metres down to Cefalù's main beach, and along the way, there are many interesting shops and restaurants to catch your attention.
It is the second time we're in Cefalú and are staying in the same apartment. "The coastal road" goes 300 metres through the city. You have to be able to walk well, since the city is situated up the rock, but that is why the apartment has that beautiful a view.
Casa Sotomura is a lovely apartment, but there is missing to certain things in the description from In-Italia. One is that is is not easy to access if you have issues with your physical condition like walking - mostly when you arrive or departure and you have to carry your luggage - and it is not possible to drive to the entrance with taxi. Its also not stating in the description that there is a very big difference between the two bedrooms. One of them is big and spacious with a small french balcony and a closet. The other one does not have either a view, a french balcony or a closet - and there is so small space around the bed.
