Palermo city centre is just 1 hour away and the airport a further 50 mins, and it is possible to arrive here by train from Palermo airport with a change in the city centre. In short you can have a beach holiday in Sicily without hiring a car. Cefalù is an exciting town as it has a rich historic past, yet is on the beach. Besides the beautiful centre you can climb the rock up to Diana's temple and the Byzantine fortress; You can sail to Ustica Island or to the Aeolian Islands; and even take the bus up to the old town of Castelbuono in the Madonia mountains.
To reach the apartment on the 3rd floor, you'll need to climb the stairs which are old and narrow, not to mention steep, but once you are at the top it woill be worth it. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, a washing machine, a stove with an oven, electric kettle, TV, hair dryers and an iron. On request and for a surcharge you can have Wi-Fi. The apartment is otherwise about 90 m² and offers three bedrooms a bathroom and a guest toilet. From the apartment is a staircase leading up to the terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view over the old rooftops, the sea and the impressive rock that gives its name to the city.

An inside staircase leads up to the terrace with sea views, where you will find a table and chairs.
Cefalù is a lovely holiday village close to most things. The apartment was overall spacious, but inadequate regarding crockery and glass for 6 people. Everything else was satisfying.
A central home in the old part of town, close to two restaurants, bars and beach!
3 bedrooms, spacious kitchen and dining area. To toilets, one with a sink and shower was very good for a company of 6 adults. The big terrace with breakfast and night drinks was wonderful! The washer with drying options on the terrace, was an extra bonus.
