Hotel Villa Mediterranea is a small, atmospheric hotel with only 15 rooms on Sicily's southeast coast near the town of Noto and its beautiful beaches. Located on the waterfront, with a private garden and swimming pool, it is the ideal base for visitors who want to enjoy the beach and pool during their holiday.
Set in a well-tended Mediterranean garden, you will find the villa is a haven of peace and relaxation. When you get tired of relaxing in the shade of trees around the pool, a small gate in the garden leads you directly to the sandy beach so you can admire the turquoise blue sea. From the hotel you walk out onto the promenade at Lido di Noto with its pretty cocoa palm lined promenade.

The town of Noto is small, but well worth the detour. Similarly, the famous Baroque towns of Siracuse, Ragusa, Modica and Scicli are not to be missed for their unique atmosphere and magnificent architecture. The nature reserve 'Riserva Naturale Orientata Oasi' is just a few kilometres (approx. 5 km) down the coast, and likewise, a bit further north (approx. 10km) you will find the Cava Grande another great protected natural area worthy of exploring for a taste of Sicily's wonderful nature.
During the summer, the Villa Mediterranea restaurant is open and welcomes you to dine on its stunning terrace in a most romantic setting overlooking the swimming pool in a stylish and private atmosphere. Besides the terrace is a very cosy air conditioned dining room in Mediterranean style. Just a stone’s throw away from the sea, the heady smell of jasmine, the bright colours of the bougainvillea and the warm light from the candles on the tables make this place a perfect setting for your summer dinners. Otherwise there is a good choice of restaurants at Lido di Noto and in the centre of Noto.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room and guests can request half board during summer if they would prefer not to have to go in search of restaurants for dinner. The hotel has 15 rooms on the ground floor and first floor. All rooms are decorated and furnished in a simple way, with natural relaxing colour schemes and are all equipped with a telephone, a mini-bar, satellite TV, a safety deposit box and air conditioning. They all of course have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
