Zingaro is a beautiful nature reserve located between Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo in north-western Sicily.
The nature reserve offers a number of impressive caves in the hills behind the coast and the area is overgrown by the typical Mediterranean flora with evergreen shrubs small trees. In spring colourful flowers adorn the landscape.

The beaches consist mainly of pebbles and adjacent rock formations, and you must remember sunscreen when you visit Lo Zingaro, for there is not much shade, and the many pebbles on the beaches generate heat.
You can also get an experience out of visiting the small local tuna fishing museum which testifies to the area's past related to fishing.
