Le Case di Elisa is about 350 meters from the shore. There you stay right between the harbor and the center of Marina di Ragusa, that was once quite small and its beaches less known. The coastal stretch between the port and the city is now completely built and only here and there, you will find traces of the agriculture that characterized this region.
Inside the little town, you will easily find more restaurants, both along with the water as in the narrow streets that go up to the main square. For shopping there is abundant possiblities so you can easily get you're freshly baked bread in the morning. When you arrive at the house you will surely notice the rather large parking, located on one side of the property: It is used especially in high season by those who do not want to use lots of time to look for a parking space in town. You will also notice the new contruction that is far from finished. It stands in the way between the parking area and the coast, but once you get into your apartment, you will probably not put as much attention to it anymore. Especially on the ground floor, your views are quite different. The area is quite calm and quiet in the evening and at night. In the off-season, we could not hear noise but be prepared for a bit more life during the two hottest summer months, July and August.
In front of the house and down to via Pescara you find a gazebo with table and chairs which are shared by the two apartments. Guests also have a private shady garden on the other side of the house (where the parking is completely invisible) so it is up to you and your family to choose how much company you like or if you like to share all this with the other guests.
Villetta Elisa is a good choice for those who like to combine a beach holiday with cultural excursions. In the mountains behind Marina di Ragusa you find the beautiful Baroque cities that have formed the backdrop to include Montalbano film series. Sicily's exotic pictures are quite often from Ragusa, Modica and Scicli. From here you can also easily visit Noto (about a half hour), Siracusa (about 2 hours) or the temples at Agrigento (about 2 and a half hours).
The apartment based on the ground floor is about 90 m² and has been completely renovated in the summer of 2014. It consists of a large living room with sofa bed and large flat screen TV (32 '') en-suite with kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, oven, gas hob and fridge freezer. There is also a double bedroom, single bedroom and an extra bed in the drawer. Furthermore a bathroom with toilet and shower and hair dryer (this bathroom and the apartment is decorated for guests in wheelchairs can use it without difficulty). The apartment is equipped with air conditioning in all rooms, iron and ironing board and laundry room with washing machine. From the kitchen you have access to a shady and private garden, where from you can see and feel the sea, located only 350 meters from here. Please note that the garden is narrow and elongated so this is not where the children can play football but you can find peace and tranqility, the perfect conditions to read a good book under the natural shade of the branches.

From the kitchen there is access to a narrow balcony, if you bring a chair or a lounger here, you can chill out in the sun.
