The four star hotel Mahara, built in 2007, is located in Mazara del Vallo. You will love your stay here in this charming hotel; the beach is just across the road and the hotel satisfies all the needs for a good holiday. It is a very good starting point to combine nice day trips with a beach holiday. Trapani is 40 km, Marsala is 35 km and Selinunte is 25 km from here.
Mazara del Vallo has a beautiful promenade along the coast teeming with life day and night, and there is no lack of charm and cultural and historic interest in the centre. You can take advantage of the free hotel shuttle bus that makes several trips to the town centre and the free beach during the day. The hotel also offers a swimming pool and a wellness centre.

Besides the restaurant, the hotel has a wine bar, La Piazzetta, which also serves light meals and typical Sicilian products. The hotel also offers free covered parking and internet access in the lobby.

- Standard the rooms have views of the interior spacious yard. The rooms on the first floor have their own terrace, the rooms on the second floor only have a French balcony.
- There are few Superior rooms that have views towards the sea and promenade. Rooms at the all-inclusive first floor have their own terrace but the ocean view is hindered by the large palm trees in front of the hotel. The rooms on the second floor have only a French balcony but on the other hand they have the sea view as the palm trees are not yet that high.
- In addition, the hotel offers four elegant Suite rooms which are all equipped with a terrace and a jacuzzi.

Clean room, which however, wasn't very spacious...
The beach was not at all around the corner, but was over a kilometre away! And wasn't at all beautiful. The location was mediocre (more like in Mazara del Vallo) with few things to do, and therefore a big need to drive to find places, that were interesting to visit.
The staff in the restaurant wasn't always as aware, and didn't understand English at all. Surprising at an international hotel. The food at the hotel was mediocre. You can eat better and cheaper in the town.
