Mazzaforno is located approximately 4 km west of Cefalù and can probably best be described as a residential neighborhood / residential area.
The coastline of Mazzaforno is largely rocky but is interspersed with a few sandy beaches which are fine for bathing and lounging in the sun. The town of Mazzaforno is a perfect location for those wishing to stay in more tranquil surroundings outside of the city. With Cefalù located only 4km away, the shops, restaurants, nightlife and sites of interest can be easily reached.
Whilst there is a bus that runs from Mazzaforno to Cefalù, it only stops in the main road which is still some way from the residential area. We therefore recommend that you have your own or a rented vehicle to get around.
