Hotel Vecchio Borgo in the heart of Palermo is only 50 m from Piazza Politeama. The hotel is named after the nearby area of Vecchio Borgo, home to the colourful and popular street market.
The hotel was completely renovated at the end of 2002 and differs from most of the hotels in Palermo because of its elegant and comfortable furnishings. It is very obvious that the architect behind the renovation was a woman, and the hotel is staffed exclusively by members of the fairer sex. The only drawback is that the rooms are quite small and the corridors rather narrow. The breakfast restaurant on the ground floor is however, well lit and provides an excellent start to the day.

Lovely hotel, but in a boring environment with trash and garbage outside your door.
