Punta Secca is a small sea town with a port and is known for its skilled fishermen. Along the sea promenade and on the cosy little square with the lighthouse, you can enjoy a good meal with a cool glass of white wine with the locals.
The house and the town is recommended for both couples and families with children who like to stay close to the beach and enjoy a relaxing in a small town. You are never far from other interesting destinations such as Scicli, Ragusa, Modica Vittoria and other sandy beaches in the surrounding coastal towns.

At Casa Rosario there are three apartments of approximately 50/60 m², featuring 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room.
The apartment is about 60 m² and is located on the ground floor. It consists of a living room with a double sofa bed (which is best for children under 12), a dining kitchen, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The apartment has a huge porch with a table and chairs.

The apartment has huge terrace with a table and chairs.
Then Punta Secca is an obvious place. We were here in the end of October, with weather that was a lot better than a good danish summer. That doesn't hurt the experience.
The apartment: Nice, clean, well-equipped, HUGE terrace with nice furniture and shade if necessary.
That is very much okay. The apartment itself is not luxurious, so that is not why it gets a big 5. So why 5 ? It is located 100 meters from the beach, no matter which way you go. The beach is the best one we have encountered on Sicily (3rd time on the island) - that's one star. The quality of the apartment is higher than the price - we also give one star for that. It's so calm here, that it's almost impossible to not relax and just enjoy life and get your pulse down. We give that 1 star. 2 absolutely excellent restaurants and one amazing in town. We give that 1 star. The last star goes to the host Rosario, who's helpfulness itself. Was available 24/7 even though we didn't need it.
We will gladly return ! Actually dreaming of it already :)
