Parco Cavalonga is situated on a hillside between Ragusa and the sea at Santa Croce Camerina in the midst of the Iblei mountains, which is a veritable treat for nature lovers. As well as the hiking trails within the 18-hectare park, you will also find endless natural splendour amongst the Iblean landscapes surrounding Cavalonga with its many natural parks and archaeoligical sites. The Iblea region is also renowned for its spectacular Baroque towns and cities, many of which are UNESCO Heritage sites. Worth discovering are Ragusa (14km), Modica (27km) and Scicli (35 km). The nearest beach can be found at Punta Secca approx. 17km away.
