Here you stay in the centre of the mountain town of San Marco d'Alunzio, which is rich with character and tradition. Balcone Amalia is upstairs to apartment Terrazza Mariuzza, which you can also rent if you are travelling with another couple.
Even though you stay in the hills, it is only 6 - 7 km to the coast which takes about 15 minutes in the car. The best beaches are found in the nearby town of Capo d'Orlando, ca. 1/2 hour drive from San Marco towards Messina. San Marco is also an ideal starting point for excursions into the exciting Nebrodi mountains that surround the town.

This is a good place where you can stay amongst the locals, while being in the centre of a fascinating medieval town. Even though it is fascinating, tourists are few. There are shops and restaurants in San Marco d'Alunzio should you choose to dine out.
The apartment was decorated in 2006 and has air conditioning. There is a strong emphasis on preserving the original rustic style, which among other things includes beamed ceilings and tiled floors. The stylish furniture is of the best quality and the apartment is furnished with attention to the detail.

- From the front door you enter directly into the apartment's bedroom which has a double bed. From here you go further into the living room with a sofa, TV and dining table. Here is the entrance to the small bathroom with a shower and toilet. Eventually you come to the apartment's kitchenette with a 4 burner stove and a small refrigerator, and from here there is access to a balcony with a lovely view of the sea.
