Balconi Crimaldi is a super lovely apartment. Big and well-equipped and with a first class view of the ocean.
Parking is a little bit from the apartment, since you can't drive in the old quarter of the town.
San Marco d'Alunzio as a holiday destination
San Marco d'Alunzio is a nice little town at the top of a mountain. The week we were there in September, it was also 'sleepy'. You have to be good at walking up and down stairs and hills.
There's to grocery stores. The smaller one is 25 m. down the hill to the left of the roundabout/Tiffany's Bar.
The larger one is located up Via Cappuccini (to the right of the roundabout/Tiffany's) on the way to the restaurant La Fornace - on the right side right past the turn down in the basement.
The butcher is located further up at Via Cappuccini also on the right side.
We tried three places to eat, the other nights we had dinner at home (cold meat and cheese).
La Macina - the town's best restaurant. 75 m. fro the apartment. Lots of great food and kind service. There's not open every day and you have to get up on the first floor to get to the restaurant. The locals eat here.
Number One Pizza - right around the corner from the apartment. They have some really great pizzas, but takes them home and eat there.
La Fornace - not particularly exciting food (touristy), but kind service.

You shouldn't drive with cars much bigger in the old quarter of the town.
