I Casali di Margello sits on the slopes of the Nebrodi mountains, south of Capo d'Orlando. It is an old farm that has undergone total renovation. The owner himself lives on site and manages the farm activities. His wife looks after the bedrooms and manages the farm restaurant.
The farm offers a relaxing and authentic Sicilian atmosphere. The reception still houses a huge and almost complete olive press which used to be worked by donkeys. The restaurant is found on the first floor in the main house. It serves local dishes often based on meat from the Nero di Nebrodi (a special type of black pig) which has a completely unique flavour and is very tender and juicy.
Guests can spend time by the pleasant swimming pool or go for walks in the extensive grounds belonging to the farm. There are also plenty of opportunities for exciting local excursions both to the countryside and also to cultural sights.
The bedrooms are in the old farmhouse close to the swimming pool and elegantly furnished. They all enjoy a delightful ambience and have en suite bathroom.
