In the middle of nature
Baglio La Porta Di San Gerardo enjoys a privileged position in probably one of the least inhabited parts of Sicily. Located in the North Western part of Sicily close at 10 minutes drive from San Vito Lo Capo and nearly bordering the Zingaro nature reserve with crystal clear sea waters, lovely hidden coves with white sand and pebble beaches and unspoilt nature. San Vito lo Capo is all about sea, sand and nature and the town radiates a very relaxed atmosphere in summer season. It rarely becomes very busy except for august and during the Couscous festival, when various chefs all around the world come here to cook their best couscous. San Vito Lo Capo is a perfect family holiday destination offering plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and fun around for about any age. The Zingaro nature reserve offers active people a spectacular setting for walking and mountain biking. Trapani and Erice are about a 45 minutes drive from San Vito lo Capo and definitely worth a day trip.
Chic and intimate
The original Baglio La Porta served actually a former country house of a Baron, located on a winery. A new structure with additional rooms has been recently added. The interior radiates a serene and intimate atmosphere and many authentic elements have been preserved. It is a combination of design and many natural elements forming an attractive interior style. In front of the baglio you find the appealing garden. Actually you find the garden around the whole of the baglio, the gem is probably the stunning view from the swimming pool deck terrace. This place forms the heart of the baglio where luxury sun beds with umbrellas wait for you to take place and enjoy tranquillity and rest. On top of the swimming pool terrace you find the panorama restaurant that is used for breakfast and diner. In season the outside terrace is used for breakfast and diner so in any case you can enjoy the green panorama. During the day drinks, light snacks and refreshments are served by the bar man. And when you want to go out the beach, just take your car or take a good walk and you can reach it within minutes. Parking on site is no problem and free of charge. WiFi internet is facilitated throughout the hotel and in the rooms.

Baglio La Porta Di San Gerardo is a small boutique hotel only featuring 8 rooms in total. All rooms have been designed with an elegant character and an outside patio or veranda to the garden or sea. Rooms have been made spacious and all rooms at least feature: air conditioner, sat TV, safe, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee maker, free WiFi and a large bathroom with shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
