Santa Croce Camerina is a typical small Sicilian village with approx. 7000 residents, pleasant piazza's and a relaxed and casual street environment. The cities main streets form a grid so it is easy to navigate your way round the centre without getting lost. It is located just a few kilometers from the coast and the popular seaside resorts of Punta Secca, Casuzze, Kaucana and Punta Braccetto, which are known for crystal clear sea and beautiful beaches. Like many other Italian villages of this size you will find a limited but adequate number of restaurants and shopping. It is located in the southern part of Iblei Mountains, an area characterized by many interesting places to visit, such as baroque cities Noto, Ragusa and Modica, the famous Castello di Donnalucata or the small but impressive park at Cava Grande del Cassibile.
