Stay just 2 km from the cosy fishing village and beach in Borgo San Gregorio, where you will also find eateries for both snacks and the more exquisite restaurants serving local specialities and seafood. For more activity, shops and restaurants, the larger town of Capo d'Orlando is just another 2 km to the west along the coast road.
On Sicily's north coast you will enjoy the contrast between the green coastline and the blue sea. The Aeolian islands break the horizon of the sea, forming a fascinating array of colours as the sun rises and sets. The sound you will hear mostly is the bird song. Head upwards into the mountains and you will encounter the most beautiful unspoilt nature, and historic and charismatic villages, and head down to find the beach and town life.

The place is lovely, and the house is fantastic. Nothing is missing. The terrace, the furniture, the pool - everything is go great. There is only one thing - you can hear a lot between Vulcano & Salinas. There is only a few km down to Brolo, where there is a big supermarket which has it all. Go down to the city Cap d'Orlando at the afternoon or early evening - what a lovely atmosphere with small shops and ice and cakes everywhere. Our best trip was to Cefalu, a very old and beautiful city just at the coast. We took the freeway (2 hours) and the at the coast rood at the way home (2 hours and 45 min). We also went to Taormina. It is beautiful but with a lot of tourists, so it could not get rid of the car and therefore had to go to the small mountain village Castemola. Here we sat at hat a nice lunch with a fantastic view over Taormina and the ocean.
Usually, the pictures don't do the "reality" justice. It's almost also the case with "Villas" - here the pictures gives a good impression of, how absolutely wonderful the place is.
We can't write anything the pictures don't show better.
Look at the pictures.
Can you imagine, from the pictures, sitting with a cool glass and being all smiles, and looking out over the water.......... ????????
In that case - hurry up and book. You wont regret it. Do it before your neighbour :)
Incredibly pretty apartment with a nice view! The kids had fun in the pool. The apartment was new and modern. Appreciated the extra hospitality from the host, who could ask about most stuff. Can heartily be recommended.
Absolutely wonderful house and view! Better than the pictures!
Having a car is a must. If you want peace and quiet with a good view and make good Italian food, this fits perfectly.
The host is very kind and helpful.
Almost new house with the most wonderful view you could think possible. No extra payment for air conditioning and internet.
