From the hotel you can stroll along the famous Corso Umberto where you will find a myriad of shops and costyrestaurants and cafes. Along the way you will be hard pressed to put the camera down as you find many vantage points with sea and Mount Etna views.
You can get to the hotel by car but in reality the car is not necessary to get around here. From the car park at the funicular, you can walk into a small port and you come to the large and lush park with century-old trees that surround the hotel. You will find the great outdoor pool with sun terrace in the garden in front of the hotel.

Arrived late one night after a delayed flight. The taxi driver couldn't find the place, so we had to walk over the last hill with our bags. Heavy! We were met by Carmelina who helped us with a quick and precise check in. We got a room on the ground floor with a non-existent view. The next day Carmelina helped us changing room to the annex with a secluded pool and a fantastic pool.
The hotel has a good restaurant and breakfast hall with a good a varied menu. Very good pool area with different opportunities for sunbathing. The hotel lies right next to a bus station and it is a good 5 min walk to the cable track, which took us down to the wonderful beach. To get to shopping and restaurants it takes a 10 min walk. Taormina is hilly, so good shoes are important for experiencing all the beautiful streets and lovely restaurants. Osteria dei Rita was our favourite.
