The apartment complex is located halfway between the sea and the historic centre of Taormina so you really do have the best of both worlds. You can relax in the pool with a cool drink after a day sightseeing in this historic city, and take in the stunning panoramic view from the poolside.
There is a shared terrace set in the residence's lush garden where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet at the end of a busy day.. The panoramic views from here really are poetic! There is free internet access at the reception, where you can connect to the network from your own device. The beach can be reached via a staircase (about 350 steps) on the other side of a small street. It's a steep climb back up, but it sure is worth it, and of course you will want to stop along the way and take some photos and have a breather. It is easy to arrive here by car, and parking is free in the public squares around 50 metres from the entrance.

Really beautiful place to stay during the vacation, the apartments was very spacious, but plates, glasses, cutlery, cups, etc. was rudimentary and a bit of an earlier date.
Spend 5 days vacation here at the cliff above Taormina's famous beach. The location, halfway down halfway up, suited us fine but is far enough from the worst of traffic and tourism. There's opportunity to relax on a great, big porch nicely furnished with beach chairs and a fantastic view over the sea south of Messina. You can seek the shade if the sun gets too strong. Nice and clean pool, calm surroundings and it feels private even though there is lots of apartments in the complex. A very forthcoming staff who speaks English well and gives good information on the area. Breakfast is something you can select and deselect as you like. We had breakfast the last day and it was fine. The place is a little difficult to find if you haven't looked it up on Google Earth beforehand - you can be surprised by the very steep and narrow streets down to the resident, but that's what Taormina is like.
A nice, first week in October. Nice, lush garden, where everything is lush and green. Nice pool area with a fantastic view over the ocean and beach. Cosy breakfast restaurant. A friendly and welcoming staff.
One minus though, was our kitchen. Unlike what we otherwise have experienced with apartments with small studio-kitchens in Italy, was our kitchen pretty big, but it definitely lacked equipment: No cutting knifes, despite 2-3 people apartment, with huge bowls, and no wineglasses. Only a giant pot. 2 electric hotplates with a thermostat, that kept disabling. It took 15 minutes to boil a little water for pasta. We gave up on cooking. Old microwave, that also was very long about heating a couple frozen peas. With a little help, the apartment could otherwise improve massively. Ugly, stale, smell from kitchen closets.
We are a family with 2 children. One aged 3 and another, 5. We lived on Terra Rossa for 5 nights an are very satisfied. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The pool and patio were well cared for and the view was fantastic. We had rented an apartment with 2 rooms and a kitchen on the 2nd floor, and had a nice balcony with view over the ocean and Isola Bella. It was clean and had the kitchen equipment we expected. What to consider is, that the apartment is halfway between Taormina centre and the ocean on the cliffs. There is stairs to the city, took around 15 minutes to walk, and the stairs down, towards the beach, took around 10 minutes of walking. It isn't so easy to have children in the wagon without ending up carrying them, if they don't want to walk. Coming at the end of the season suited us fine. Fewer people, lots of room on the beach and in the pool. And the water was wonderfully warm. The temperature was over 22 degrees the whole time, despite it being cloudy and raining the first couple of days. The last days it was all sun and 25-30 degrees.
Perfect and charming reception. A very big room, clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Staff is pleasant and attentive.
Close to Taorminas centre. One of the more pleasant holidays, we've been on. Is recommended!
