VOI Grand Hotel Mazzarò Sea Palace

Located directly on the beach in Taormina Mare looking over Mazzaro bay. The perfect place if you like to pamper yourself and just want to relax.
The hotel has a lovely pool area with adjoining restaurant. Breakfast is included with a buffet and all rooms have a stunning view of the sea. It is possible to upgrade to half board. Remember that if you eat in the restaurant, 5 star rules apply and you are not supposed to appear in swimwear or bikini. Beachwear applies to the pool and beach. So you should think of bringing some more clothes than you might used to. Thought, it is not all to difficult as long pants for men will do. A jacket and tie is not necessary. The hotel officially has 5 stars, however we have chosen to delegate 4½ suns. 5 suns for location and views, 4.5 suns for the standard compared to many other 5 star hotels. We suggest this hotel to you if you appreciate great location, comfortable rooms and good facilities at a cost that is somewhat lower than other 5-star hotels in the area.

Just off the beach and close to the city

The hotel's location is close to both town and beach and allows you to combine a beach holiday with the many exciting experiences that await in Sicily. The hotel is practically right at the beach, and here there are sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests. With the little funicular railway you can quickly get up to the center of Taormina, as it only takes a few minutes. Note that urban trains, which in Italian is called funicolare only run during the summer. If the funicolare is not running, you can just take the city bus, which takes a little longer, but operates the whole year. You can of course also take the trip on foot, it is about 3 km to the center of Taormina.

Rooms

All rooms have a comfortable size, elegantly furnished and well-located. coast is facing east, you get a nice . All rooms with balcony have lounge chairs on the balcony / terrace. There is WiFi throughout the hotel for an additional fee.

Facilities

The swimming pool is quite large and lovely located on the top floor where you will also find a long sun terrace and the Blue Bar. The swimming pool is open all year round as it is covered and the water is heated in the winter.
You can’t beat water sports or a simple swim in the bay for exercise at Mazzarò Sea Palace, but there is also a fully equipped, up-to-date fitness center available for those who want one.
Additional you also find a Wellness Center at the adjoining Grand Hotel Atlantis Bay. It offers exclusive treatments to delight the body, mind and spirit.
