Villa Azzurra is situated on the high and rocky coast, close to the town of Terrasini. The village of Trappeto is only 1.5 km away from the villa. During the summer season the village is inhabited. Terrasini is on a 8 km distance of the villa and pretty lively in summer. You can find here a good selection of shops, restaurants and cafes.
Palermo, definately worth a day excursion, is only 52 km away and the famous Riserva Natural dello Zingaro is situated on 40 km from the villa. There are some beautiful hiking routes where you can enjoy the stunning views over the small bays of the reserve. Do not forget to take your swimming gear!
Scopello, a picturesque village, is positioned next to the reserve and Castellamare del Golfo at ca. 40 km. The nearest airport is Palermo´s main airport Falcone and Borsellino at ca. 30km
You will find a lush garden with tropical plants and cacti. The lovely swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. In the immediate vicinity of the swimming pool you also find a shower place.
Villa Azzurra has direct access to the sea, or rather to a platform at sea. A stoney staircase leads down to the platform built in the rocks. From here you can jump into the water. The nearest sandy beach is about 10 km from away from the Villa.
The living room has large windows and glass doors, so you can really enjoy the landscape. In the living room is a fireplace, local made furniture, done by a carpenter from the village. The fully equipped kitchen offers stove (gas), oven, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. From the living area you enter the bedroom with a double bed, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms with toilet and shower. Further facilities include air conditioning and washing machine. Before the house there is a parking place. Outdoors there is another kitchen with barbecue and wood oven. Around the house there are several terraces / porches, where one can dine and relax.
