Tripi is about 14 km behind the coastline facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, at the northern part of Sicily. Untouched by tourism - for better or worse, in the town itself there are no places to eat - but there is a pizzeria and a restaurant in Campo Grande, located approx. 6 km towards the coast. Tripi is surrounded by steep hillsides and is well situated for those who want to explore Etna, the Nebrodi mountains, the north coast or head to the Aeolian Islands in a short time, as it is only 40 km from Milazzo harbour, from which there are ferries for all seven islands. The harsh nature that characterizes the mountain areas around the town, becomes softer and allows the cultivation of olives and walnuts over the entire north coast. With such geography, it is difficult to cultivate the land, which is particularly dense with forests of oak and flowering shrubs.
