The house of Habsburg was one of the most influential royal houses of Europe. The throne of the Holy Roman Empire was continuously occupied by the Habsburgs between 1438 and 1740. The family originated from Vienna but spread their wings all over Europe.
Canazei is surrounded by beautiful slopes full with pine tree forests and impressive mountain ranges from the Dolomites. The little town itself is the largest of Val di Fassa and attracts most tourists, compared the other small neighboring villages. Val di Fassa counts in total 138 km of pistes and 69 ski lifts. Plenty of space for you to find your favourite pistes. On the pistes you can find good places to have lunch. From this area you can easily get to the slopes of Sella Ronda and if you like to extent your ski pass, you can access 1200 km of slopes and 450 ski lifts of the Dolomite Superski.
