Cavalese is a cosy and charming alpine resort from the 1300's. You'll find much to do in the town including many shops and restaurants. There is a cinema, a theatre and many discos where you can dance the night away.

Capital for cross country skiing and skiing for all

Cavalese, together with Predazzo and other towns in the area are well-known ski resorts and are considered to be "the Italian capitals" for cross-country skiing. The area has among other things played host to large cross-country competitions. The town offers many kinds of activities in the form of a covered ice rink, a sports hall, tennis, minigolf etc.

Discover the Dolomite Superski area

The lift pass is part of the Dolomiti Superski area and the more well known areas like Canazei and Campitello are only a short bus ride away - and the same goes for the Sella Ronda ski trip. Cavalese is perfect both for the experienced skier as for the beginner, and the slopes are prepared between December to April.

Arrival in Cavalese

To arrive here by car you should take the Brenner motorway to Ora and turn from here, to drive up to Cavalese. The nearest airports are Bolzano, Verona, Milan or Venice. The nearest train stations are Ora (24 km), Bolzano' (approx. 42 km) and Trento (about 60 km).
