Rifugio al Faggio is located between the mountains of the beautiful Valle di Concei near to Lake Ledro. It is around a 10 to 15 minute drive to Lake Ledro and approx. ½ hour to Lake Garda.
The place is owned by the sympathetic family Santi. Ordinarily, you will meet the two sisters Eva and Elena, but you can be sure that it is also teeming with cousins, uncles and aunts who all give a helping hand here and there.

The name Rifugio al Faggio means the refuge by beech tree. The hotel was originally a small hut that belonged to Eva and Elena's grandfather, which stood under a large beech tree (which still stands). Since then we have extended and modernized, but the original atmosphere of a cosy "retreat" in the woods at the end of the path is still present.
The place is an ideal starting point for nature lovers. Many of the trails that cut through the mountains passjust outside the door. Rifugio al Faggio is not just famous for nature, since it is not uncommon for the guests to driven from Milan on the weekend just to dine at the resort's famous restaurant.
Besides the restaurant, there is a breakfast room, a bar where you often meet the locals, a small desk, a lift, parking, a garden with pool - and a small play area for young children.
The approx. 20 rooms are simple with a rustic décor. They vary somewhat in size. They all have a telephone, satellite TV, a safety deposit box, a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, and except for a few, they all have a balcony. The larger rooms can accommodate up to four people.
The hotel is a bit far from the mainroad and thats why we choose ot. The nature means everything to us.
Rifugio al Faggio lived more that fully up to our expectations. Wonderful rooms and food with halfboard. The staff was just so serviced minded and everything went just smooth.
