Nalles as a holiday destination

We knew what was waiting, but was still pleasantly surprised to see the hotel. It's a really nice and high quality hotel with a lot of nice details and a very service-minded staff. You can feel a family is behind it and runs it with a very warm hand. We had half-board and had a phenomenal 3 course menu in the evening. The heart of the hotel is without a doubt the restaurant, the lounge and the porch outside of the restaurant. There's also a small outdoor swimming pool in a corner of the hotel, but it feels secondary. Fine parking in the hotel's garage with a direct stairway to the reception.

A very small village, but with beautiful nature, especially the surrounding mountains. Big apple plantations and also a lot of vineyards. We stayed one night on the way back from our vacation in Piemonte and Tuscany. Absolutely perfect ending and nice starting point for the journey home, when we reached the Brenner Pass. But you can easily stay several nights at the hotel and experience the Dolomites.

If you wanna spoil yourself, then Zum Rosenbaum is the place to be.

The city Merano/Meran is a beautiful city, worth a visit, close to you will find the small city, Dorf in Tirol, with a beautiful path to a old castle.

Fantastic welcome. Unusually friendly staff. Lovely rooms. Nice wellness area. The pool's small, but lovely to swims some laps in. Bit too few sunbeds on the grass. Lovely with Tiefgarage. The food is well made, exciting, and surprising! Lovely to be able to choose between different courses. Also the wine menu is good with local wines. Every morning there were a small brochure with suggestions for activities, which we chose to follow one day and got a nice experience in Merano. It's a good idea to come with suggestions, when you don't know the area yourselves.

There aren't that much in Nalles, besides a starting point for hikes, and we were at a wine tasting too. But Merano nearby and the beautiful nature makes the town to an attractive destination anyway.
