This enchanting mountain town has a few restaurants and a supermarket, and more of the same in the smaller mountain town of Moso located approx. 2 km to the south.
Sesto is located in the German-speaking Alto Adige region of northern Italy and is called 'Sexten' locally. This leads to some cultural variations, namely that the restaurants are open earlier than usual Italian restaurants which is a benefit for families who wish to eat dinner as early as 18.00 hours.
