Bardolino is one of the gorgeous towns on the south eastern shores of Lake Garda. It is also a well-known wine area stretching from Lake Garda right across to the neighbouring wine district of Valpolicella, so you can easily combine lakeside relaxation with a wine tour.
You will find a magnificent promenade along the lake here and comfortable pebble beaches around the town from where you can take a dip. When it's time to dine, you won't be short of choice in the town. There are a number of interesting churches worth visiting also and the surroundings are a haven for hikers and bikers. There are some good pathways that connect Bardolino with Garda town, Lazise and and Peschiera del Garda. The neighbouring towns of Garda and Lazise are both very nice and worth a trip, whether it be by car, bus or on foot.

Bardolino has a good choice of shops selling bags, shoes, ceramics, wine, olive oil, cheese and other products. If you are after some serious shopping then it is not far from Bardolino to Verona where the shopping street Via Mazzini is a must. Just south of Lazise is the huge theme park Gardaland wonderful for both children and adults alike. A good safari park is only a few km away and if you follow the Mincio river southwards you reach the spectacular flower park Parco Sigurta. In other words, there is lots to do and see at Lake Garda not to mention the opera shows in the old arena in Verona.
