Hotel Al Camin is located along the main road approx. 1 km from the centre of Bassano. During the day the area is quite busy but it gets very quiet at night.
Today the hotel is classified 4 stars and has a reputable restaurant mentioned in several restaurant guides. Its history is somewhat unusual. Back in the 1960s Mrs. Pezzin, who is now an elderly lady, converted her house to a restaurant. To start with it was used by lorry drivers working in the area.

Since then she has rebuilt the house and improved the service, but the food remains as good and as famous. We would recommend you try the restaurant even though prices are no longer at a level to suit lorry drivers.
Mrs. Pezzin's daughter is now a director of the hotel. She has organized a room for business meetings and the bedrooms are comfortable and sound proofed, so the place can easily compete with good hotels in larger towns. The 30 bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning, mini bar, telephone, satellite TV and en suite bathroom/toilet with hair dryer. The hotel also offers non-smoking bedrooms.
We particularly recommend the hotel to couples or business people. It is easy to pass an enjoyable evening at the hotel, and during the day you can spend time in Bassano itself or in the nearby towns of Marostica, Asola and Cittadella.
