Package tour to Italy
We spend 14 days here in July/August. Lovely, big and clean apartments with balcony and lots of space. But remember to bring toilet paper! There's a mall not that far from the apartments, which has different stores and a bakery, which we used a lot, to buy fresh bread rolls.
A big supermarket is within a 20 minutes walking distance - and was fine to visit and shop at.
The pool was outside the apartments, and the beach is a short train trip away.
We kinda had the feeling, we were in a touristy place, but with a short bus drive to the town of Caorle Duna Verde, we got to see how Italy really was, and how authentic Italian food tasted.
We enjoyed the trip, but didn't get the feeling of Italy at this place.

Family with children
A lovely area with vacation apartments. The apartment is fresh, and good service upon arrival. The pools are good, the beach good. All in all a good vacation home. The thing that's reducing the rating in the review is, that they close the pool and mini train during siesta. The children have very little understanding for this.
Also the problem with the internet makes the review worse, the speed was so bad, there were no sense in using it at all. That's not something to blame In-Italia for, but the vacation spot, who's responsible.

Vacation with children at Lido Altanea
Generally a good vacation for children as well as parents. For us, the area resembles Weissenhauser beach. Different apartment blocks, apartments or hotel rooms with own pool area for each block. Good mixture of tourists, Danes, Germans, Dutchmen, Italians, etc.
We stayed in a 3-room apartment, which was quite nice, however very sparse with kitchen utensils. We succeeded in cooking one night (pasta cooked au gratin) without an oven, besides that the meal plan was pizza and ice cream :-)

Bring some kitchen utensils yourselves, if you want to cook. Remember toilet paper and paper towels, as well as dishcloths and tea towels.

Hello Asgeir, thank you for your feedback. We understand, that the siesta practice can seem a bit strange for us Scandinavians, in return it is quite natural for many Italians, who loves to rest a bit after lunch (many have longer work days, than we do here at home). And to not disturb those, who wish to take a little nap in the warmest hours, they are closing the swimming pool area, amongst other things. Regarding the Wi-Fi, it is not very developed in many parts of Italy, but I know, that they're working on improvements.
