17 km of beach holiday fun

The town is 17 km long and is located along the Adriatic coast in the northern part of Italy not far from Venice. You could say that the town is more or less is divided in two; the eastern and the western part. In both areas, there are many opportunities for activities, lots of shops and restaurants. The eastern part is a little quieter and the beach here is also a little wider than in the west. The western part, in turn, has the largest selection of shops and restaurants and this is where most hotels are located.

Pedestrian area with entertainment

The long main street is divided by the different "piazza" (squares) and in the evening it is quickly turned into a wide pedestrian street where you will find lots of activities and entertainments for children. In particular, the little electric train, that goes around in the town. There are very good cycling lanes and many places from where it is possible to rent a "cycle wagon" that carries up to 6 people - a really fun thing for the whole family. You can easily go from the eastern side to the western side of town by bus. In both areas, the main road is closed to traffic from 20.00 pm. to 06.00 am (only during summer).
