This building has had an interesting history dating back many years to 400 AD when it was originally a home for nobles and bishops.
The farm underwent total renovation a few years ago. The main building was converted to a charming hotel with nine bedrooms and a good restaurant, which is regularly frequented by people from near and far. Here you can sample many wonderful regional dishes in a welcoming dining room or on the terrace. During weekends it is very popular for weddings and other large functions.

The farm exudes an atmosphere of rural idyll. Here are common living spaces including a fireplace in the lounge. Wi-Fi internet connection is available in the housing areas. In the garden you will find a beautiful swimming pool of 14 x 7 metres and plenty of space to roam. It is a good base from where to explore the region, and there are maps for all the exciting cultural cities: 65 km from Venice, 60 km from Verona and 22 km from Padua.
The farm's 13 hectare grounds produce wine, olive oil and fruit. Geese, chicken, ducks, goats and the friendliest of pigs are reared here. Part of the production is for sale, but the majority is used in the restaurant kitchen.
The bedrooms are all elegantly furnished with antique furniture and more recent pieces, which blend well together. The two superior-rooms are much larger than the others and enjoy splendid views. The bedrooms are equipped with a TV, a telephone, a fridge, air conditioning and, of course, an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. As it is a renovated old building, and not a modern hotel build, the bedrooms are all very different, some are bright, others dark, some are very spacious and others are smaller. This is part of the nature and charm of the place.
Note that Le Vescovane attracts wedding parties. You can therefore expect that there will be weddings on site almost every Saturday throughout the summer.

We loved driving from Venice, which is stocked with tourists and heat, op in the mountains to this idyllic place. We got a lovely welcome by the owners, and we went straight for the pool, which had a view over the mountain landscape. Dinner was marked by local specialities and a warm, personal service.
We took a walk in their gardens, where we found their own plantation and a bustle of animals. Is strongly recommended.
Beautifully renovated agriturismo. Room 12 is turned towards the valley. The room seems big.
The windows are very low, so you don't get the full joy of the view. Double bed and two single beds. Small fridge, but no service.
Wonderful pool area with sunbeds and parasols.
The breakfast is typical Italian (not flashy, but OK). Dinner, on the other hand, is a pleasure. Authentic Italian dishes for pure gourmet.
They largely use their own produce from their kitchen garden. Expect to pay around 15 euro for a main dish. Do also note; the restaurant is closed on Mondays (and some Tuesdays).
The staff mainly speaks Italian. Only the head waiter speaks English, but it didn't seem annoying or bothersome for our stay.
We only got internet connection by staying within a 5 m radius of the reception.
