Hotel Laura Christina is located in an olive grove on the outskirts of Malcesine just 800 metres from the centre and approx. 200 metres from Lake Garda. You get to the hotel by a small narrow and relatively steep road and there is ample parking. You can easily walk to the centre of Malcesine from here and there are panoramic views along the way.
The hotel was built in the 70's by the Nicolodi family who still own it and are responsible for the daily operations. The decor of the hotel is characterized by the period in which it was built. This means that it has quite low ceilings, the furniture is wooden and the sofas are heavy, which may well make the otherwise very large reception and lobby feel small.

The receptionist, sweet Elena is known to be very helpful. Besides Elena, you may encounter Signora Nicolodi who is a former teacher of Latin. The hotel is popular with many regular customers and some groups, who return year after year. Once a week, a traditional dance is organized. In short, this hotel is a good base in respect of the price and location.
The hotel is perched on the hillside and has a beautiful view of the lake from the common rooms and the outdoor terrace, although this view is sometimes obstructed by cypress trees. You can use the hotel's outdoor pool and indoor pool (open when it's cold), a terrace and a garden, tennis courts (for a fee) and a car park. There is a great bar, a restaurant and a small fitness centre inside the hotel. Recently in 2015 new Technogym machines were added to the gym. Finally you can dine in the large restaurant with a skylight and take a drink in the lobby bar with terrace seating.
All rooms have a telephone, satellite TV, a balcony or terrace which can be shared with the neighbouring room, and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Four of the rooms are located in a small annex, and here the style is distinctly Austrian.
