Il Rifugio del Poeta is a beautiful country house, in fact a former convent. With its beautiful and exposed beams, it is in a quiet spot at the of a dead end street, and in the garden there are open spaces with evocative vineyards.
In this oasis you will find a comfortable holiday spot. The plot is surrounded by vineyards and has a summery atmosphere, and the mountains create a beautiful profile on the horizon. From here you can reach the village of San Biagio di Callalta in approx. 4 km, otherwise there are a few shops closer and a major shopping mall within approximately 6 km. Within about 500 m, there are two dining places, so it is possible to eat out nearby at night.

- The five rooms are elegant and cosy and all have a private bathroom with a toilet and shower. Four of them are located on the first floor, while the latter, which has space for two extra beds, have both a shower and a bath and lead out onto a large covered terrace. Another room on the first floor also has space for two extra beds (bunk bed), while a single room can accommodate an extra bed.
It's a really lovely country place, peaceful and idyllic. The breakfast buffet was excellent, little delicious specialities - something for everyone.
But but but - we have to give a big minus for the pool water. Both our children had problems with itching/stings. In the end, our smallest one had to stay completely out of the water. Both children of another Danish couple (who were there at the same time) also had problems with rashes. It should be mentioned, that we've never experienced this kind of problem before, and that there were no problems the following week, where we stayed another place. I informed the owner of the problem, and he said, that he would take a look at it the next day. We don't know if it got better, we were only there for three days. It's just too bad, when the place otherwise is so wonderful.
