The enchanting setting of the estate of the Collalto family at Borgoluce is something to behold. The landscape is dominated by the great castle of San Salvatore, creating a dramatic backdrop in contrast with the hillsides. It is located northwest of Venice, and 2k km from Treviso airport.
The Collalto family is famous for its Prosecco DOCG wine, but they also produce still white wine and a few great reds - Cabernet and Merlot. The agriturismo is surrounded by vineyards, woods and farmland, and the main vineyard for production is approx. 1.5 km from the accommodation. You can of course choose to take a wine tour and purchase the products.

In keeping with the principles of nature, the owners have developed an "organic" swimming pool on the estate that sits in the hills just behind Casa Sfondo. It actually looks like a small lake surrounded by various aquatic plants which have been carefully chosen to purify the water. Here you can swim and relax on the loungers on the decking to the side of the pool, surrounded by breathtaking nature and panoramic views. There is also a small wooden cabin and a shower and toilet.
The apartments are divided into two former country houses which are Casa Sfondo and Casa Lentiner, located approx. 150 m apart, with stunning views across the fields towards the castle. The houses are situated on a private gravel road - but otherwise all roads in the area are normally paved, but with little passing traffic. It is about 1 ½ km to the village of Susegana from here.
Casa Sfondo is an old three storey country house. The house has been completely renovated and decorated in the traditional colours of the Collalto family - red and pale yellow. The old handmade terracotta floors on the ground floor have been preserved, as have the impressive beamed ceilings. Collalto's ecological swimming pool is located just behind Casa sfondo. The house contains two apartments; Alberelle and Pioppeto.
Casa Lentiner is the same as Casa sfondo, an old farmhouse on three floors and has been renovated according to the same principles. The house contains two apartments - Carpino and Rovere, and is also where the nine Bed & Breakfast rooms are housed. There is also a large living room with among other things, wireless Internet connection, where there is space to hold small meetings.
