The location is top notch and is central, yet peaceful and in within walking distance from the main train station (approx. 600 m). You can expect a cosy setting with a romantic atmosphere, perfect for a getaway just for two.
Ca' della Corte is located in the Dorsoduro neighbourhood of Venice with a multitude of canals on all sides - but there is no canal view from the hotel. There are also many good restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Ca' della Corte has a cosy furnished patio at its entrance where evenings are often candle-lit. The atmosphere is most alluring.

Nothing has been left to chance at this hotel. They have thought of everything down to the finest details. There are many lamps in Murano glass creating a cosy and unique atmosphere. In the grand lounge you will find a coffee corner with a fruit bowl available around the clock. This is an invaluable treat when you arrive home after a day on foot around Venice. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms and an internet point. The hosts are very friendly and open minded so if you need anything, just ask.
Among the many highlights here is that breakfast can be served on the roof terrace weather permitting. The cosy rooftop terrace overlooks the neighbourhood roofs and has tables and chairs and a canopy. Note that the ceiling height under the canopy is limited. You can alternatively choose to enjoy breakfast inside in the lounge or in your own room (for no extra fee).
Rooms are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. The room on the 3rd floor is an attic room (Standard) with a sleeping loft for a child. There is no elevator on site.
We can warmly recommend In-Italia. Fantastic service from beginning to end. Small and big tips that we could really use in Venice. We stayed at the most amazing little hotel Ca' della Corte. Very peculiar and completely different. I've been around the world, but never experienced a place so special. Few rooms, where the arrangement with old antique furniture which match the house, that's in 3 stories. The owner and the additional staff was incredibly accommodating. The place oozes of cosiness. It was just an extra plus that you can get your breakfast served in your room. Even though it is 20 minutes of sailing from the Rialto Bridge and the Piazza San Marco it was a lovely and pleasant area - and still very central. 10 minutes of walking to the boats, that could be taken no matter were we wanted to go. We had a great experience. From home we had decided what we wanted to see. We didn't have time to see it all but we experienced a lot of new things. In our quarter we sailed in a gondola in the evening. It was cheaper and incredibly beautiful in the twilight??
This hotel is marketed as a 4-star - I hadn't given that as a hotel, but as a B&B it works fine - it is peacefully located and the manager was very kind and we were very happy for the concert she recommended in a small church near Academia. We also got some good recommendations on restaurants and on how to best get around.
We are fully satisfied with our stay at Ca'della Corte

Very idyllic, charming and nice B&B with a fantastic and sweet 'Hostess' :-) Good and calm location in the Dorsoduro-quarter, is highly recommended.
