Despite Hotel Dolomiti's location close to the station, there are not many tourists flowing past here, as most choose to walk from the train station towards St. Mark's Square rather than turning down this very quiet road. The hotel's 32 rooms all have a telephone and air conditioning. The water bus stop is also reasonably close, so in a short time you can travel to other parts of Venice by boat.

Close to the popular cafes

This is a 2-star hotel which has been run by the Basaldella family for more than 70 years. Here you will find not a modern lodging but rather a "home" near Cannareggio's neighbourhood, popular cafes and art shops.

September 2015

Nice and well functioning hotel and nice room with air condition. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was nice and clean.
Breakfast was good and plenty by Italian standards. The room is on the 4th floor without an elevator, so think about your luggage. The hotel laid perfectly relative to the station and channel boats. Some mosquitoes showed up at night, so mosquito repellent or an itching salve is a good idea.
All in all 5 wonderful days.
