Ca 'dell'Orto offers a unique opportunity for easy access to culture and history in Verona without having to select a cramped city hotel. Only approx. a 2 ½ km saunter along the River Adige from the centre of Verona and you will find these apartments in peaceful surroundings set in a large garden with a swimming pool and a children's pool at one end.
The Residence is located on the outskirts of Verona near to where the river Adige flows. On one side of the city is the old town, and following the river through the centre you arrive at the newer part with less charming 1970's building in the background. There is free on-site parking in the underground garage, and the bus stop is just 100 metres away and within approx. 300 m, there are two supermarkets. It is possible to hire bicycles on site, and the pool area has outdoor fitness facilities. Note that traffic on the other side of the river can be heard a little from the pool area at Ca 'dell'Orto.

In addition to the beautiful outdoor areas, there is also a breakfast room behind the reception desk where the buffet is served (for an additional fee). Breakfast is to pay on site and it includes a rich selection and many homemade items.

- There is only one apartment of this kind, which is on the 1st floor and it has a private balcony. The apartment has a living room with air conditioning, a safety deposit box, satellite-TV (flat screen), internet (cable), kitchenette (fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and four-burner stove), two beds as sofa beds, two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
Ca 'dell' Orto leaves nothing more to be wished for! The place is very well maintained and beautiful! The pool is gorgeous (we spent most of our holiday at the pool) The owners are really nice and helpful on all areas! The rooms were very clean! The rooms were equipped with a bit of basic equipment. We were missing out on products such as spices / vinegar or oil, which for us, for 4 days, was not profitable to buy and unfortunately was missing for cooking. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, then is the place to stay. The bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and walking to town takes about half an hour. We have rent bicycles!
All togehter, we were very satisfied and left Ca 'dell' Orto with a heavy heart. We would love to come back, it is a pity that Ca 'dell' Orto is not existing in other places!
When it comes to last peace of Ca 'dell'Orto, it isn't "cosy" and "charming" that first comes to your mind, when you see the neighbourhood. But all that is forgotten once you enter the garden gate. A big garden and lots of flowers bid you welcome. And the hostess instantly greets you in such a way that you feel like you're the only guest. The garden has table tennis, foosball, a big lawn with football goals.. and a big pool. And here is the whole idea of picking Ca dell'Orto. Especially when there is a heatwave, like when we were there. The pool is amazing to come home to. We had a big room with an extra bed in form of an armchair, which could be made into a bed. Big balcony, washing machine in the kitchen and drying rack. We left with clean clothes. We came a few hours before you normally can check it. No problem. We actually even got treated with coffee, croissants, and a soda for our daughter. The hostess had a map over the town ready for us and a thorough instruction to the nearest supermarket and bus stop, and it was 2 mins away, so we were in town in no time.
What a stroke of luck that we chose this accommodation. Nice room, nice pool and close to the bus, going into the centre of the city and the airport in Verona. We are very satisfied.
Lovely reception and service. Delicious breakfast with everything you could want. Very relaxing! Take the bus to the town and walk home in the evening.
