In recent years the hotel has been completely refurbished to a contemporary hotel with style. Warm and soft illumination has been used to make you feel comfortable and at home. At In-Italia we were surprised by the standard of the hotel, as Best Western often focuses on functionality. Hotel de Capuleti is located at 200 meters from the Arena.
If you have never experienced an outdoor opera, the summer season might give you the chance to experience this in the Arena. Be sure you book it in advance, as mostly tickets run fast. The historical center of Verona is very close by at walking distance and offers many interesting attractions from the past and present times. Of course you can find lovely shops, boutiques and it is filled with appealing trattorias and bars. The piazza you should not miss out on is Piazza delle Erbe, ringed with medieval and Renaissance architecture, it might just be Italy's most stunning piazza.
If you are a fan of historical sights, the “to visit list” is quite long. We suggest a visit to Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore. Most of them are all gems, but San Zeno is probably the best and most appealing.

The hotel does not offer a restaurant in the house as around the hotel you can find plenty of trattorias and locations to dine and wine. At the hotel you can find an elegant lounge bar for your coffee in the morning or your spritz in the afternoon. After an active day strolling around the city or travelling, it is time to relax and the hotel just offers the best facility for this. A romantic and charming wellness, featuring a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and relax room.

The hotel features only 34 spacious rooms. There are not only functional as well as tastefully furnished. Two types of rooms are offered, the standard rooms and the superior rooms, where the latter are a bit larger and a bit more luxury. All rooms at least feature, TV sat, telephone, radio, minibar, safe, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower.
