If you have never experienced an outdoor opera, the summer season might give you the chance to experience this in the Amphitheatre. Be sure you book it in advance, as mostly tickets run fast. The historical center of Verona is at your doorstep and offers many interesting attractions from the past and present times. Of course you can find lovely shops, boutiques and the center is filled with appealing trattorias and bars. The piazza you should not miss out on is Piazza delle Erbe, ringed with medieval and Renaissance architecture, it might just be Italy's most stunning piazza. Also in the center and close to Palazzo Victoria, you find the house, Casa di Guilietta. It is the house of Julia from Romeo and Julia and nowadays a pilgrimage for couples in love. Touching the right breast of Julia’s statue should bring fortune to your relationship.
If you are a fan of historical sights, the “to visit list” is quite long. We suggest a visit to Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore. Most of them are all gems, but San Zeno is probably the best and most appealing.

High urban comfort

As being a four star hotel, Palazzo Victoria offers high comfort and luxury services. Once you arrive you will notice the modern classic blend, radiating a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There is a fitness room yet, don’t expect a swimming pool and wellness here in this city hotel. However, the gastronomy compensates the eventual lack of a wellness.
Borsari 36 is the the pride of the hotel and as they name it “ the symbol of a modern concept” The restaurant has a show kitchen right in the middle of the room making you enjoy the chefs show. In summer breakfast, lunch and diner can be served outside on the courtyard terrace.
Borsari 36 stands out for its dishes from the grill, on an open barbecue and its pasta dishes. Underneath the restaurant you even have Ancient Roman remains made visible through the Plexiglas in the floor.
Vicotiorias lounge cafe is a fancy place to have an aperitif, cocktail or even a good cappucino as you like it. The various public rooms in the hotel have been designed in a stylish and appealing way, making you feel at home easy.
WIFi internet is facilitated throughout the hotel and free of charge. Parking your car onsite is possible, however only against an added free of 40,- euro per night.
