The picturesque stone buildings that make up Agriturismo La Pieve are built on the ruins of an old 12th century cloister in a particularly tranquil and beautiful part of Tuscany.
Here at the foothills of Tuscany's highest mountain, Monte Amiata, (3 km from the small village of Stribugliano) mass tourism still hasn't properly arrived. With 25 km to the enchanting small town of Santa Fiora and its undisturbed idyll, and 50 km to the fine beaches at Marina di Grosseto the place can be recommended to those "who want it all".

The restoration of the houses has been sympathetically carried out, and the exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors have been preserved whilst modern comforts have been introduced.
All the apartments have private terrace with garden furniture. The 8 x 16 m swimming pool (open from 8 May till 16 October 2004) is less than 100 m from the houses and surrounded by lovely green lawns on all sides. There is a washing machine at the disposal of the guests.
