Antico Mulino makes you experience the old Tuscan country side atmosphere, not least by it's impressive history. The actual mill has been passed through from generation to generation within the Lepri family. Joan and Romano are running it now as the present generation, as since the early 900s the Molino has been an important part of the local farming community. On the farm house's lower floor you can still admire the ancient millstones, used to grind flour for Tuscany's famous, homemade bread.
Joan and Romano are your excellent hosts and still live on the farm. You can rent the house completely or decide to rent a part of the house. Antico Mulino's comes with a fine rustic decor (Tuscan style) so do not expect much luxury. Instead it is cosy, warm and very genuine.
Enjoy the lovely pool (10x4 meter and 140 cm deep) where you can throw yourself in the sun beds and work on your suntan. Read a good book and watch the children playing. The swimmingpool is fenced so you can relax in the shade under your umbrella. You can pick fresh vegetables in the garden and prepare a delicious barbecue under the open sky, as the sun sets and crickets begin their evening song. Feeling to lazy to cook? Perfect choice, as Joan and Romana serve excellent Tuscan dishes in the restaurant at the premises. For the children there is a little playground and a kiddies pool. Explore the appealing area on a bike or with a nice hike. (Bike rental available) Antico Mulino has facilities for disabled people.
