During the 14th Century, this tower was of military importance and marked the boundary between the Longbards and the Byzantines. Today it offers a unique opportunity to stay in a historic building in an area steeped in history, not to mention brimming in natural beauty.
Set in a wonderfully panoramic position and located close to Arezzo (15km) in central Tuscany, it is less than 3km away from the small town of Palazzo del Pero. Thanks to the outstanding renovation, the Torre di Vignale has recaptured the allure of its time with grandeur. Only the majestic presence of the tower can outdo its serene surroundings of thick oaks, chestnut woods and rolling green hills. At a height of around 600 meters above sea level, the tower enjoys a more manageable temperature during the summer's hottest days and nights.
