Many believe that this area of Tuscany south-southeast of Siena in the area known as Crete Senesi is the most scenic. You will be surrounded by a marvelous gently hilly undulating terrain, lush with scattered flocks of sheep and cypresses and picturesque farms.
In the midst of this fascinating and marvellous area, 7 km from Asciano is the Villa la Pievina. Here you stay in an independent villa with all that it implies in terms of privacy, a private garden, a barbeque and a swimming pool, and on an active farm that seems to have escaped development over recent years.

Everything here is so evocative, pretty and original that you feel as if you have stepped back a few generations. No one disturbs you in the villa and its private garden with pool, but you can also consider people's comings and goings on the farm, and the manager Simone and his wife Carla are warm-hearted people who will do everything in their power to make you feel home. Carla is also a jolly good cook who can cook for you upon request with some notice. The villa has a washing machine, free internet access and satellite TV channels.
