This gorgeous old farmhouse sits high in the landscape and enjoys outstanding views to all sides over the south Tuscan hills. It is a tranquil place, and the only noise you hear is the noise you make yourself. At the same time, the famous Renaissance town of Pienza is only a few kilometres away. With its picturesque alleyways and buildings this town has been the back drop for many a film. The wine town of Montalcino is also close by, but in spite of all these easily accessible sights, Val d'Orcia is one of the least visited areas in Tuscany.
The house is converted into two apartments, both with entrance on the ground floor and furnished in rustic style. The kitchens are of a good standard, and the interior has a charmingly personal touch. Both apartments have a private area outside with garden table and chairs, TV, dishwasher, washing machine and fireplace. There is a wood burning stone oven for shared use by the apartments. The raised swimming pool in the garden is approx. 4 m in diameter and its shallow depth makes it very suitable for children.
Three room apartment Fiordaliso
- Fiordaliso (65 m²) is on ground level and has a living room with fireplace and a well made open plan kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds (can be made into a double bed) and bathroom/toilet.
Four rooms apartment Girasole
- Girasole (115 m²) covers two floors. On the ground floor is a very large living room with fireplace and good open plan kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom/toilet. On the first floor is a bedroom with double bed and private terrace with views, bedroom with two single beds (can be made into a double bed) and bathroom/toilet.
